BC Aboriginal Student Awards
Open doors, go places with a BC Aboriginal Student Award.
The BC Scholarship Society is offering awards of $1,000 - $3,500 for Aboriginal learners. The program is open to BC residents of Aboriginal ancestry who have been active in their school or community and are planning to study in:
- An approved trades training or apprenticeship program,
- A certificate or diploma program, or
- An undergraduate or graduate degree program.

Pacific Peoples' Partnership - Capacity Advisory Opportunities
[4 Term Positions in Indonesia - DEADLINE September 23, 2011]
Pacific Peoples' Partnership (PPP) is seeking four uniquely talented individuals to operate as Capacity Advisors (CapAds) in Manokwari, West Papua, Indonesia this Fall 2011. PPP will carefully select qualified candidates in support of our three civil society partner organizations. The positions being recruited for are:
- Women's Network Capacity Advisor
- HIV/AIDS and Community Health Capacity Advisor
- Community Development Advisor (Sustainable Livelihoods and Gender)
- Media and Information Technology Advisor
These short term positions will begin as soon as possible and last a minimum of four months. Potential applicants should consider the positions cooperant opportunities, in the spirit of a volunteer, that provide training, travel, and financial support. Applicants must ensure that they meet eligibility requirements as noted on our website. Note that the ability to speak or willingness to learn Bahasa Indonesia is a definite asset.
